B’Sorah Luxury Tented Camp
Need a change of scenery but don’t want to travel a million km or pay a million rand? Then B’sorah is your place. With our 10-week old baby girl strapped up tight in her cat seat, my husband and I headed to the beautiful luxury tented camp near Hartebeespoort Dam.
Driving onto the property, you would never know you were so close to civilisation. We stayed in the honeymoon tent, mostly because we thought we’d be kind to fellow visitors and keep baby screams at a distance. The unit is absolutely stunning and secluded, with a view of the Magaliesberg Mountains. The luxury tent really is that. It has a massive white bed in the centre of the tent, a bath, shower, and open-air kitchen. On our way home we took a drive past the other tents, and we’ll definitely try out one of those next time because as you drive through what feels like a fairy forest you come down upon these luxury tents overlooking a running river.
The farm is home to kudu, nyala, waterbuck, impala and blesbuck, as well as warthogs, baboons brown hyena, and jackal. You can also go on hikes or take your 4×4 and enjoy some more extreme camping. This is probably best if you don’t have a 10-week old baby.
